When the United States government executed search warrants to seize over $26 million from the bank accounts of a local business, the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota appointed Carlson Caspers to serve as the Receiver. Pursuant to the Court’s Orders, Tara Norgard oversaw the investigation of individuals’ claims to over $16 million in seized funds, the return of that money to over 68,000 of the company’s members, and the return of over $9 million to the company itself. Tara also worked with the government and the company pursuant to the Court’s Orders to facilitate payment of the company’s past due salaries, taxes and health insurance premiums, as well as the ongoing operating expenses of the business, while the matter was under investigation.
