PARALEGAL OPPORTUNITY – Carlson Caspers is seeking a Paralegal with 3-5 years of law firm experience who possesses the skills and qualifications noted below.  We offer competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package.  To be considered for this position, please submit your resume and cover letter to Mary Laschansky, mlaschansky@carlsoncaspers.com.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with large-scale document productions and review through various platforms, i.e. Relativity.
  • Provide support to attorneys during the entire litigation process from initial information gathering stage through discovery, trial and appeal.
  • Prepare for and attend trial.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years litigation paralegal experience, preferably in the area of Intellectual Property.
  • Paralegal Certification required.
  • Must have experience with e-discovery and complex litigation.
  • Experience preparing for trials including creating and maintaining trial exhibit lists and trial exhibits, deposition designations and other pre-trial order tasks.
  • Experience attending trials with the ability to perform paralegal duties independently; including managing and preparing attorney/expert working spaces, hospitality duties for experts, preparing documents for the court and assisting with daily court correspondence.
  • Qualified candidate shall possess a professional demeanor, strong attention to detail and organizational skills, and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage competing deadlines.
  • Capable of completing quality work independently and efficiently.
